Seedream 5.0 is most useful when the prompt describes the output like a production brief. Start with the image type, then add the exact text, subject, lighting, and layout.

Prompt structure

Use this order:

  1. Asset type: poster, product hero, catalog image, book cover, or social ad.
  2. Required text: put short readable copy in quotes.
  3. Subject: product, character, room, food, or scene.
  4. Direction: camera, lighting, palette, and composition.
  5. Output need: 2K test, 4K final, square, landscape, or vertical.

Example

A 4K launch poster for a carbon fiber running shoe, readable headline "RUN LIGHT", studio shadows, clean commercial layout, 16:9

Use free credits to test the direction. Move to Pro when you need 4K, batches, priority generation, or API usage.
